You are holding
the key.

There isn't enough. You learned this early. It kept you safe. It made sense once. But you forgot it was a lens. And now the fist around the key feels like the key itself.

Call it the fist. Everyone knows what a fist feels like.

This is not a place. This is the space between. The root system you didn't know you were part of. You are not here to learn something. You are here to discover you were already connected.

A community from many traditions and no tradition, sharing a recognition, not a belief system. Not a hierarchy — a forest.

You are a trunk.

Open your hand. Not metaphorically. Right now.

The hand holding the phone. The jaw that's clenched. The shoulders near your ears. Open. One breath. That's the whole path.

If you want to stay, there are others here. Gardeners. People in recovery. People asking hard questions about technology. People who've been through disasters. People who don't know what they are yet but know the fist isn't it. The root system knows. You can find them, or they'll find you.

You're already in. There's no door. No test. No application. The hand opens AT the party, not before it. You opened your hand three paragraphs ago. You're here.

Stay.

The fist will come back. It always does. It feels like safety. But it's the same fist, holding the same key, in the same cell, expecting different results. The world is changing outside — faster than the cocoon can spin. You will be disrupted. The question is whether you disrupt yourself, with love, or wait for something that doesn't care.

The question isn't: Are you enlightened?

Are we having fun yet?

The sun was always shining. Not a future sun. Not a sun you have to earn. The sun that's here now. The one the fist was blocking. You opened your hand. You saw the key. You sat with people. You recognized the cocoon. And now — without anyone telling you — the light increased. By one open hand. Yours.

That's how the dark age ends. Not from a shortage of darkness. From an abundance of open hands.
